New England Development

CambridgeSide Galleria was the first vertical super regional mall on the East Coast. Mr. Sisco, a Project Executive for the $125 million project, employed “up, up construction:” whereby the below grade parking structure is vertically bypassed to allow the Mall’s upper 3 stories to be enclosed early, saving an additional shopping season’s income.

The 560,000 SF Skyview Center is a two block urban infill mixed use retail vertical Mall development including a 2,400 car parking structure. Development by Design with Storm Partners provided fresh leasing concepts and planning solutions for the challenged existing center. The “Outlets” concept was created fulfilling an Asian customer base desiring brand names and value pricing. Because of the outlets leasing success, the center was sold for $400 million in 2015 to The Blackstone Group.

Maxdo Plaza Project
Middle Huaihai Road
Shanghai, China

Perkins Eastman, New York’s largest design firm came to Mr. Sisco to provide retail leasing expertise to the firm for their Maxdo Plaza Project Commission: Five stories of retail and entertainment uses were integrated with hotel function rooms and structured parking. By programming the food court, hotel facilities and theater on upper retail floors, DbyD created a top down customer flow, bringing top brands and increased rents for leasing upper retail levels.
